Harrison Butker kicked a game-winning 51-yard field goal as time expired to give the Kansas City Chiefs a 26-25 win against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium, adding another thriller within the AFC rivalry.

The kick capped a nine-play, 43-yard drive that was extended when Bengals defensive back Daijahn Anthony received a flag for pass interference on fourth-and-16 on a pass that fell incomplete. That penalty gave quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense a first down at the edge of Butker’s range. After a couple short runs, the Chiefs attempted the game winner as time expired.

Kansas City moved to 2-0 on the season while the Bengals, who in many ways outplayed the Chiefs, dropped to 0-2 for the third straight year.

Quarterback Joe Burrow passed for 258 yards and two touchdowns, while Cincinnati’s defense forced three turnovers, including a spectacular one-handed interception from cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt.
