The Arizona Cardinals sustained a significant blow to their offense Sunday after losing standout rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to a concussion against the Green Bay Packers.

Harrison’s early exit came at the 6:28 mark of the second quarter with the Cardinals trailing 17-0. As Harrison fell to the turf after failing to corral a pass, his head crashed into the thigh of Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie.

Initially, Harrison appeared to be fine following the hit, but the outlook quickly shifted after the 22-year-old stumbled upon standing before going back down to the ground. Members of Arizona’s medical staff assisted Harrison to the sidelines, where he took a visit to the blue medical tent before heading to the locker room.

Harrison had no catches on two targets Sunday before leaving the game.
