Manchester United hope Antony has avoided serious injury but the winger will miss the trip to West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Brazil international left the Europa League draw with Fenerbahce on Thursday on a stretcher after pulling up in serious pain with an ankle sprain.
The 24-year-old was later spotted on social media leaving the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium wearing a protective boot and using crutches, casting doubt on his immediate availability.
He missed training with team-mates on Saturday but the club are hopeful the injury is not serious with the severity still being assessed.
“It’s really unlucky for him,” Erik Ten Hag told MUTV after the match on Thursday. “I feel real compassion for him, when he worked so hard in training.
“His training performances are that good that he deserved to come on. When you have to come off so quickly, that is really sad to see. Hopefully, it’s not too bad, we have to wait 24 hours for what the assessment is.”
Bruno Fernandes and Jonny Evans did return to training with the club working at the Gaughan Group Stadium, home of League One side Leyton Orient, in east London.
Orient’s ground is located two miles from the London Stadium where Sunday’s Premier League fixture will take place.
Fernandes missed the trip to Turkey through suspension while Evans returns after recovering from a knock sustained in last weekend’s win over Brentford.
United are 13th in the table with three wins from their eight games so far.
