Saquon Barkley’s sensational first season with the Philadelphia Eagles added another standout play to the highlight reel on Sunday after the star running back broke out a move likely few viewers, if any, had ever seen before.
Just when NFL fans may have believed Barkley couldn’t continue to amaze them, the seven-year veteran turned what could’ve been a mundane 14-yard reception into a sequence to remember in the second quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Barkley corralled the pass and unleashed a nasty spin move on Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd as he turned upfield before leaping for a ridiculous, no-look hurdle over Jags cornerback Jarrian Jones while backwards.
