Leny Yoro returns to Manchester United first team training

Leny Yoro has returned to first team training with Manchester United ahead of their Europa League meeting with PAOK.

Christian Eriksen and Antony also took part in the session at Carrington on Wednesday morning following recent absences.

Yoro is yet to make his competitive United debut after fracturing his metatarsal during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.

The 18-year-old was United’s most expensive summer signing, joining from Lille in an initial £52million ($67.9m) deal.

Yoro underwent surgery on his foot, with United expecting him to be sidelined for around three months, and he resumed training on an individual basis in October.

Eriksen missed Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first games in interim charge against Leicester City and Chelsea but took part in Wednesday’s session at Carrington.

Antony has also recovered from an ankle injury sustained in United’s 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce last month.

United are still waiting for their first win in the Europa League having drawn all three of their opening games, leaving Van Nistelrooy’s side 21st in the standings.

Van Nistelrooy will remain in charge against PAOK and for Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Leicester, before handing over to incoming permanent manager Ruben Amorim.
