Ohio State dropped five places to a season-low No. 7 in the AP Top 25 college football poll on Sunday and Miami fell out of the top 10 to No. 14 after both lost crucial games to unranked teams to end their regular seasons.
Oregon was a unanimous No. 1 for the fifth straight week. No. 2 Texas, No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Notre Dame all moved up a spot, as did Georgia in rejoining the top five and setting up top-five matchups in both the SEC (Longhorns-Bulldogs) and Big Ten (Ducks-Nittany Lions) championship games.
No. 6 Tennessee also moved up a spot.
The Buckeyes fell out of the top four for the first time this season after being upset 13-10 at home by Michigan, which cost them a spot in the Big Ten championship game next Saturday. It was their first loss to an unranked team under Ryan Day.
No. 8 SMU, No. 9 Indiana and No. 10 Boise State all moved up one spot. The Broncos are a top-10 team for the first time since 2011.
Miami also cost itself a spot in the conference title game, losing 42-38 at Syracuse to send Clemson to the ACC championship off a nonconference loss to South Carolina. The Hurricanes were ranked eighth last week.
The Orange are No. 23 and in the Top 25 for the first time since Oct. 30, 2022.

Tulane and Texas A&M dropped out of the ranking after rivalry game losses.
The Aggies (8-4), who are the first team out, fell out for the first time since early September after losing 17-7 to Texas on Saturday night at Kyle Field.
The Green Wave fell out and were, essentially, replaced by the team they lost to. No. 25 Memphis entered the rankings for the first time since September 2020. The Tigers were last ranked this late in the season in 2019. It was their first road win against an AP-ranked team since 1993 at Mississippi State.
