Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado and Porto striker Samu Omorodion have been named in Spain’s senior squad for the first time for November’s Nations League matches.
Athletic Bilbao defender Aitor Paredes completes a trio of uncapped players in Luis de la Fuente’s squad, in place of Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsi, after the 17-year-old sustained a head injury in Wednesday’s Champions League victory against Red Star Belgrade.
Casasdo, 21, has enjoyed a breakthrough season in Hansi Flick’s first team, starting in 12 matches this campaign and earning his first cap for Spain’s under-21 squad.
Porto striker Samu — who this month declared he wished to be known by his mother’s surname Aghehowa rather than Omorodion — has scored 11 goals in nine appearances for the Porutugese club since joining from Atletico Madrid this summer.

Spain play away to Denmark on November 15 before concluding their Nations League campaign against Switzerland in Tenerife three days later.
De la Fuente’s side have taken 10 points from their four group games to date and are top of League A Group 4, three points above Denmark.
