Hwang Hee-chan to return to Wolves squad after six-week injury absence

Wolverhampton Wanderers will welcome Hwang Hee-chan into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Fulham after six weeks out with an ankle injury.

The South Korea international has not played for Wolves since the 5-3 defeat at Brentford on October 5.

He suffered an injury while playing for his country five days later.

But head coach Gary O’Neil says Hwang will be back in the traveling group at Craven Cottage.

O’Neil is also hopeful that centre-back Santiago Bueno will be fit to remain in the starting XI despite withdrawing from international duty with Uruguay through injury.

“Santi’s done some work on the grass,” said O’Neil “He’ll travel with us and we’re hopeful that he can make it.

“We have a few players to check on, but I’m hopeful that we’ll be OK.”

Wolves are 19th in the Premier League table two points behind 17th-placed Ipswich Town.
