Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou says captain Son Heung-min is “unlikely” to be available for their trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
Defender Destiny Udogie, though, is expected to be available.
Son missed last Sunday’s 3-0 win at Manchester United with a hamstring injury he sustained in the Europa League victory over Qarabag. The 32-year-old was also absent for this Thursday’s 2-1 Europa League win against Ferencvaros.
Udogie also missed the match in Hungary after coming off at half-time against United last weekend with a right quad issue.
“First things first, last night (everyone is) all good,” Postecoglou said. “The boys are fairly tired but physically no issues.
“Destiny we think will be okay, we have training today and tomorrow and he has to get through that.
“Sonny (is) unlikely. He is pushing hard but I don’t think the turnaround will be quick enough for him to be ready at this stage.”
Spurs head to Brighton having won five matches in a row since their 1-0 home defeat by north London rivals Arsenal on September 15.
